The Muskogee Stars are a stalwart of the 4SFL and have been a consistent force year-in and year-out. Under the leadership of owner and coach Mike Jacobs, the Stars have made big moves in the off-season.
In 2020, the Stars had an exactly average season, finishing 3-3. Muskogee showed promise at times, like only losing to the eventual league champs, the OKC Bears, by only two points in week three, 28-26, or beating the third-place Joplin Crusaders handily 33-12 in the penultimate week of the regular season.
Unfournatly for Muskogee fans, the lows were even worse, as the Stars would lose in back-to-back games to the Wichita Skyhawks ending their season in the first round of the playoffs.
The 2021 season should see the Stars competitive once more, as they try to shed their mid-pack label and break into the upper echelon of the 4SFL.
